It had been precisely a hundred years since the Spanish Flu and the devastation the world had to witness because of it.

No one could have thought that something similar could have made the human race suffer again, especially given the medical advancements we have made in the century since.

But we are going through a crisis, a health crisis that does not have an end in near sight.

With over 14 million people having infected by it;
With over half a million have lost the battle against it;
With no clue as to how many more would become inflicted;

The world is indeed in a state of crisis.

Would it be too much to think that the crisis could have brought along a favorable outcome?
Would it be inappropriate and insensitive to think about profiting in the crisis?

Maybe it would; maybe it wouldn’t. I do not have a clear answer on this. But I will be giving you an idea, a business idea to be more specific, that been nothing but profitable.

The COVID-19 Mandate

Ever since the coronavirus was declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on 30 January 2020, the world has been following a WHO advised regime.

Social distancing has been the primary determinant in this scenario, with many countries, including Belgium, imposing a strict lockdown upon its citizens.

Even though a shutdown is possibly the best solution to curb the pandemic, it is not a very convenient one. The world economy was hit so hard that it might take years for us to recover the losses. People are pushed to take personal loans online that are approved in minutes to stabilize their financial situation.
Therefore, opting for the other preventive measures was the only viable option left for countries across the globe.

The WHO mandate for the COVID-19 included these instructions.

  • Sanitise

People had to wash their hands as much as they can since the virus could stay on your hands and when you touch your face, it could most definitely go into your body and make it its host.

Washing hands with soap is not possible all the time, so hand sanitizer is the next best solution. And not just your hands, you must sanitize every surface you can and even the products you buy from outside.

  • Wear a Mask

An infected person’s breath can make everyone around him infected as well. So, every person has to mask up whenever he goes outside to protect himself and others around him.

Many countries have made masks mandatory, and a fine is levied from anyone who does not wear it.

  • Glove Up

The last preventive measure is to wear gloves. If you do not touch any surface in the outside world, the chances of you contracting the virus and making someone else catch it because you are slim to none.

With the adherence of these four measures, including social distancing, we can keep ourselves safe and secure amidst a global health crisis.

The COVID-19 Profits

For a person, his life and the life of his family is the most critical asset. And that is why people all over the world have stringently following the guidelines of the WHO. They are procuring the three products needed for the same.

From individual households to supermarkets and office complexes, you will most definitely see the availability of a hand sanitizing in the entrance and every single person wearing a mask inside.

So, I would not be wrong in saying that the sales of masks, hand sanitizers and gloves have gone off the roof in the pandemic. In a time when the majority of businesses were enduring a loss of income, these businesses were minting more money than anyone possibly could have thought.

China is the biggest producer of masks in the world, ever since the pandemic was announced; there have been over 70,000 new companies to register themselves as a masked producer. Let me tell you, the present number of mask manufacturers has increased by over 1200% during the pandemic.

Taiwan has a population of about 25 million, and since March, the province has been producing 13 million masks a day.

Everyone knows that the global mask stockpile did not serve even a quarter of the demand, arising due to the pandemic. So, manufacturing had to be done on a large scale to provide for the needs of people.

The same is the case with hand sanitizers and gloves. The former witnesses a 1000% elevation in demand in just the first few months of the year.

The COVID-19 Business Idea

We all know that a vaccine is still going to take a lot of time to be made. And even if it is made in the next month, it would take months and months for the very person on the planet to get it and become immune to the virus.

So, the way of life we have been practicing since the beginning of 2020 will continue for months to come.

And the demand for masks, sanitizers and gloves is not going to go down any time soon.

So, you can take my advice and build your business model around these essentials or incorporate them into your existing business. You can easily do that with a business loan that can be availed online in Belgium. You can start manufacturing or selling the same, and the profits are guaranteed to come your way.

Now, the question is, are you willing to take the silver lining the pandemic has given us or not?
